According to TalkSPORT, Leeds United has begun negotiations with Manchester City to discuss the transfer of goalkeeper James Trafford. The 23-year-old goalkeeper is eager to leave Manchester City this summer and join another Premier League team to compete for a starting position.

This 23-year-old goalkeeper transferred from Burnley to Manchester City last summer for £27 million, while just two years ago, Manchester City had sold him for £14 million. He started in the first three Premier League matches of the season, but on the final day of the transfer window, Manchester City suddenly signed Donnarumma, which caught Trafford off guard.

Under Pep Guardiola, Trafford only made four appearances in the Premier League throughout the season and played 13 matches in cup competitions. Last season, Manchester City won both the FA Cup and the League Cup.
